Touch The Real

There’s so much for the Unreal that permeates your mind.

So many images put before you in an attempt to create the illusion of effortless Joy.

But it is in this very attempt that all loses its authenticity.

You can be torn down in a second, cascading beliefs of unworthiness upon yourself,

simply because you compared someone else illusion to your own reality.

In these moments - touch the R E A L.

- Trace your fingertip along the pink, plump palm of a child’s unworn hand.

- Feel the light rain bless your face, each drop having crossed oceans to meet you.

- Listen to the heartbeat of a land that is not your own.

- Hold your breathe underwater and listen to the world fade away, just to remind yourself that as long as you exist, so too does the entire universe.

Touch the REAL, touch what matters, what

you beyond these mists and mirages of life.

Be true to what’s here, be true to your Self - and let go of those heart-shaped forms upon the horizon and touch what is real.
