The Rain

See beauty in your unwanted, rainy days,

a gift from the

gods and all that’s still glorious

making sweet and fertile

the dry and depleted.

The damp cloth that raises the bread...

The wet hand that washes child’s face…

The womb that holds life...

So too do these days offer alchemy.

They are a process of restoration

as vital as any other direction or element.
