The False Sun
A false sun shines brightly upon us.
It twists our spines and crooks our necks towards its bitter warmth, promising us that if we worship it…
then it will comfort us and take our pain away.
We stand withering together under this false sun but the longer we look at it, the more we believe we need it to feel good about being so bent and misshapen.
To believe that there is something wrong with us is to believe in this false Sun.
To contort ourselves into shapes that ware not native to us is to turn away from our roots.
There is a pure and nourishing Sun right here within us that asks for nothing other than to turn back towards the truth of who you are.
Heart is our sherpa back towards inhabiting our true shape & loving ourselves again.
