Not all days were made for healing.

Some were made for holding.

Holding space for yourself to simply be with what aches,

holding yourself lightly in between knowing and knowing nothing at all,

holding a little distance between you and the big blue within,

holding a kindle of hope in your palm, sheltering it from the winds of the world,

holding a memory close enough to whisper words back through time,

holding your heart to your ear just to make sure it still works.

and some days were just meant for holding yourself

u p r i g h t.

These days are a healing too - because they require nothing from you.

Just that you step off that well-beaten track of self-improvement and into your braver place of being with what is still wild within you.
